Dear Parents & Guardians,
We received information late Tuesday afternoon that due to an increase in confirmed cases of Pertussis the Pima County Health Department (PCHD) is expanding its recommendations to protect students, staff, and parents at Sycamore Elementary School.
It is our intent to follow these directives in order to keep everyone safe and to help stop the spread of this illness.
Please review the attached letter from the Pima County Health Department for complete details of the actions that will be imposed beginning Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
The most important thing you can do to help at this time is to keep your child home and seek medical treatment if they have a cough that is unusual for them or if they are ill.
For any further questions concerning these procedures at Sycamore Elementary School or the District, please contact Ken Graff, Principal, at (520) 879-2504 or John Carruth, Assistant Superintendent, at (520) 879-2005.
Thank you for working with us and with our medical care community to help keep all of us safe and healthy.
Sycamore’s Picture Retake Day is right around the corner on Monday, November 18, 2013!
If your child had their picture taken in August and you would like them redone please have your child return the original picture package on retake day. If your child is a new student and you would like their picture taken, order forms are available in the front office.
