Next week, May 14-May 18, we will be having our end of the year spirit week!! We want all Sycamore Scorpions to participate in this fun and wild week!! So…dress your best, and we can’t wait to see the crazy outfits you come up with!!

You can purchase a full color yearbook in the front office for $20.00!! Please send in your payment envelope with your child to school!! Envelopes are available in the office, or you can ask your child’s teacher for one.  Please make checks payable to Sycamore Elementary School.  Don’t miss out on this great way to remember a wonderful year!

Hello Sycamore families!  Just a heads up that our district email has been down for the last few days.  We are working very hard to fix the problem and hopefully it will be up and running again soon!  Please feel free to contact the front office if you need anything.

Bring your chairs, blankets and family to join us for another amazing night under the stars at our next family movie night.  We will be watching “Happy Feet 2″ on April 27th at dusk.  There will be food available, but if you want to order a family pizza be sure to order in advance!!   Hope to see you there!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The biggest event of our school year is the annual Community Fair.  It is open to the community, but we also rely on our community to help us make it all work.  We have a wide variety of booths that we need your help to run!  If you are willing and able to volunteer, please email our school volunteer coordinator Tori Janes.

The Community Fair is May 4th, 2012  from 6:00pm-9:00pm.  We can’t wait to see you there!!

A well deserved break for students and teachers.   Everybody worked really hard during third quarter, and now it is time to relax!  We hope that you find time to enjoy your family, friends and the beautiful weather!  See you on March 26th!

Sycamore Spring Break Office Hours

Our third benchmark test is quickly approaching! Our students have been working so hard and we can wait for them to show what they know!! We are always proud of them, and benchmarks is just another way for them to show off all that the have learned.  Check out the Benchmark 3 Testing Schedule.   Benchmark testing will start on February 21st and run through March 7th.

Our annual Pennies for Patients drive has begun!  Send in your loose change and dollar bills to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!  The class that brings in the most money will earn an Eegee’s party!  The drive will run through the end of February…Thanks for all of your help and support!
