Christina Hunter – Speech Language Support Specialist

This is now my second school year working at Sycamore and I love and appreciate the people I work and collaborate with and the students we help everyday.

I am a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011 with my Bachelors of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I have two-year-old twin daughters that I love and adore and that challenge and surprise me everyday. I couldn’t do it all without my wonderful husband Josh, who is currently attending nursing school. To say we are a busy family is an understatement. We enjoy hiking, swimming, going to the park and feeding the ducks, along with many other 2-year-old guided activities.

It is my belief that every child deserves every opportunity to learn, but also to learn in a safe and welcoming environment; where their needs are met and they can explore the depths of their minds. I see this everyday in the Vail School District and here at Sycamore. This vision and goal is one that I share for myself, and the services I can provide to any and all of our students. It gives me such pride to work for such an outstanding establishment, and calms my “mom heart” for when my girls enter into their own school aged years in the district.
