After spending more than 18 years in various roles in education from classroom teacher to curriculum writer, I am so excited to be returning for my second year in Kindergarten here at Sycamore! Growing up in Missouri, I knew early on that I wanted to be a teacher. After a detour to upstate New York for a few years, I moved to Vail in 2005 when my husband was transferred to the area with his job. We have one daughter who will be a 4th grader here at Sycamore.

Outside of the classroom, I run a small photography business, read anything I can get my hands on, and enjoy spending time with my family and our greyhound. We also enjoy exploring the Tucson area, going to the movies, and are avid baseball fans. Go Cardinals!

I am looking forward to helping your Kindergarten student succeed and love school here at Sycamore! It is my hope to create a nurturing, encouraging environment where your child can blossom and grow into confident, caring, and respectful learners. I believe the greatest growth occurs when parents and teachers work together to help their students learn. I look forward to learning more about you and your child and working with them this year!
