Michele Pangle – Student Achievement Teacher

It’s hard to believe that this is my 22nd year in education! I have taught in El Paso, Texas, Leupp, Arizona, and Knoxville, Tennessee. I am lucky to have been at Sycamore since it opened in 2003. I have taught 4th grade and was also one of the Reading Specialists for Sycamore’s Title One program.

I have a daughter who is a junior at Cienega. She is involved in many clubs and is on the varsity soccer team. I love watching her play and seeing her so involved with her school. I also enjoy reading, swimming, eating out, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.

As a Student Achievement Teacher I want to be a support to students, families and the staff at Sycamore. My position allows me to guide the instructional practices that we value as a school. I help teachers make the best decisions in their instruction to make sure they are meeting the needs of all of their students. I am able to reach more children than I would in working in a regular classroom of my own. This has been very fulfilling, and I am so happy to be a part of the Sycamore family.
